A Little Bit About Me
It has been a while since I concentrated on myself or wrote out a personal profile. I am born and bred from Edinburgh; origins are from Pakistan. Some say I sound a bit like Lorraine Kelly but I'll perhaps leave that up to you to decide.

I have been married before for a short time and was unfortunately not blessed with any children. Due to my age, medical reasons, and being realistic of course, I will not have any (biological) children now. However, 7 years ago I embarked on an amazing journey to adopt a child as a single person adopter. I was blessed with the most precious gift of all, a little girl who was a baby when she came to me. She is now Ma’Sha’Allah 9 years of age and is a bundle of love and joy.
I fully understand this is something that does not suit everyone.

I have worked for the NHS for a number of years; within the Learning Disability (or Intellectual Disability as the name is evolving to) and also in Forensics. I have had a bit of a change from the NHS and can tell you all about my new adventure if you’re interested.
I also work privately with people across the age span, ranging from children to older adults, throughout a wide array of psychological difficulties and levels of abilities.
Absolutely love my job and no two days are ever the same.

Like most who are accessing this path, I too am looking for companionship / marriage prospect. I feel there are the lucky blessed few who have managed to love and be loved back and I guess that is all we would hope for in this life.

Religion is important to me and whilst I do have faith and practice daily, I would say that there is always room for improvement.

I am a ‘glass half full’ kind of person and attempt to have a positive happy outlook in life. I'm a great believer in karma and like the old Irish saying 'what is meant for you will not go by you'.
