A Little Bit About Me
As-salāmu 'alaykum warahmatullahi wabarakatu. May the peace, mercy, and blessing of Allah SWT be with you.

A little about me. I would describe myself as a loving, caring, and loyal individual who enjoys learning more about my Deen. I am confident in myself and hardworking, and believe I hold a good balance of work, sociable and family time. However, this balance would move towards spending most of my time with my family after marriage as it becomes my primary focus alongside my work.

Our background stems from Lahore, Pakistan. Our caste is Arain and would preferably like to meet a family with a similar background who hold similar values. Although, my family and I are open to other castes who have values and outlook on life similar to ours. This is purely to improve family ties as marriage is more then just two people coming together. We are brought up and nurtured by our parents and will inevitably hold family traits that are passed down, which is why I'd like to know a potentials background.

We are Sunni Muslim, and follow the Hanafi school of thought. I do pray but looking to further strengthen this area insha'Allah. Our family do khatams but I have a different thought on Milwads. I like to learn about my Deen and the different school of thoughts to help further my Islamic knowledge.

I have one sibling and am the eldest who has never married. My family and I have just started searching and insha'Allah looking for a life partner to help us both complete half our deen, as well as a daughter to my family.

I am independent and make my own decisions, but respect the advice and guidance of my elders. I wish to live with my family after marriage and would like this to be respected by my future partner. I have a small family who are very loving and caring towards one another and would like someone who treats them as their own, as they will do for her.

What I Am Looking For
We are looking for family who has a balance of Deen and Dunya.

I would like to find someone who is respectful, caring, and holds a strong desire to build a happy home for their future family insha'Allah. A person who is understanding of their responsibilities to one another, with the ability to show strength when difficulties arise or appreciation when blessed by good fortunes.

I haven't listed too much as I'd like to view each person as a whole. A person who understands marriage Islamically and the compromises needed by both. Topics of discussion would include a persons upbringing, their family background, their hobbies/interests, their view on marriage, living arrangements, and family relations.

In terms of 'clicking' and checking each other's personality can be done after we both check compatibility. The jokes, laughter and banter can come after as it's a natural part of my personality. I will like early family involvement as I am serious about marriage and not looking for 'dates', which sometimes often feels the case on here. Yes, I am happy to message/talk and give the time needed before asking parents to become involved.
